Hockey Club Lugano’s friendly matches

Hockey Club Lugano has finalised its schedule of friendly matches ahead of the 2026/27 National League season, which will begin on Saturday, 15 September.

The Bianconeri preseason will feature a total of six friendly games, including participation in the Bodensee Cup in Kreuzlingen from 20 to 22 August. In the days leading up to the tournament, starting on Monday, 17 August, Mitell’s team will hold a training camp on the ice in the canton of Thurgau.

Two preparation games will be played in Ticino:

· On Friday, 28 August, the Bianconeri will face the Langnau Tigers at the new CFMG Arena in Sigirino. Due to the limited capacity of the venue, the event will be private and not open to the public. Members of 5A Linea, Hockey Club Lugano’s official membership integrated into the App, will have the exclusive opportunity, through their accumulated points, to redeem tickets for this game directly in the App’s rewards catalogue;

· The following day, Saturday, 29 August, Thürkauf and his teammates will face Swiss runners-up Davos at the Cornèr Arena. After the game, the traditional official presentation to the fans will take place.
