Frequently asked questions.

I already had the old App: how do I download the new one?

Download the updated version from the Google Play Store for Android or from the App Store for iPhone. After the update, complete a new registration. If you have an account registered in the HCL Ticket Shop, use the same credentials in the App as well.

I already had the old App but I cannot log in. What should I do?

The old login is not valid in the new App. To benefit from the special offer for 2025/26 season ticket holders, you must register using the same credentials used in the HCL Ticket Shop.

How much does the 5a Linea Membership cost?

The standard Membership price is CHF 41. A special price of CHF 19.41 is available until 15.06.2026 for season ticket holders from the season just ended or members of the 5a Linea from last season. To be recognised as a season ticket holder, you must register in the App using the same credentials as the HCL Ticket Shop.

I am a season ticket holder: how do I get the 5a Linea Membership for CHF 19.41?

In order to be recognised as a season ticket holder, you must register in the App using the same credentials you use in the HCL Ticket Shop.

Are the prizes always the same?

The prize catalogue is updated periodically.

I am not receiving notifications. What should I do?

Check that you have enabled permission to receive notifications in your preferences.

I cannot activate geolocation. What should I do?

Check in your phone settings that you have enabled location permission for the HCL App. Also make sure that geolocation is active on your device.

Who should I contact in case of malfunctions or problems with the App?

In the main menu, go to the Account section and access your profile. Under “Contact us” you will find the contact form to report any problems or request support.

I see the “Open” button instead of “Update” on the App Store. What should I do?

If you see the “Open” button, click on the HC Lugano App icon to access the App’s dedicated page in the store. Once there, select “Update”.

I did not have the App: how do I download it?

Download the App from the Google Play Store for Android or from the App Store for iPhone. Once the installation is complete, complete a new registration. If you already have an account registered in our Ticket Shop, use the same credentials for the App as well.

How long does the 5a Linea Membership last?

The Membership is annual and is valid for one year from the day of activation.

How much time do I have to redeem prizes?

In the prize catalogue, under “Quantity”, you can see how many prizes are available for redemption. Prizes can be redeemed while stocks last.

What happens to points that are not redeemed at the end of the season?

At the end of the season, points expire and cannot be transferred or used in the following season.

How does geolocation and point allocation work?

With the new HCL App, if you are at the Cornèr Arena or at an away rink, you can geolocate yourself by clicking on the card you will find on game day in the "Today’s Highlights" section of the HOME. This way, you automatically receive points, which you can use to redeem exclusive prizes.

The points balance is not updated on the main screen. What should I do?

You do not need to do anything. Some point collection activities require system checks that may slow down the update time.

Why are more points needed to obtain a prize compared to last season?

Because they are calculated based on the possibility of collecting points over 12 months and not only over 3 months, as was the case during the App launch period.
