On the HOME SCREEN you’ll find the always-updated match schedule, with the option to purchase tickets quickly and easily via the HCL Ticket Shop.

In the TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS section you’ll find the latest news, official communications and the most important content to stay up to date with the world of HCL.

When you follow the team live, you can activate geolocation every time you attend an HCL game, both at home and away. Your presence is immediately rewarded with valuable points:

100 points
for away games

Within the App you can also purchase the 5a Linea Membership, browse official Shop ’41 items, and explore the rewards catalogue to see how to use your collected points.

From the main menu you can quickly access the different sections of the App:
  • TEAM: full match schedule, updated first-team roster, real-time standings.
  • PLAY & WIN: quizzes and mini-games that let you collect points (match prediction, Best Player, Starting Six), plus access to the rewards catalogue and points overview.
  • SPONSORS: overview of our main sponsors and Local Partners where you can collect points via Scan&Collect.
  • NEWS: always up to date with news and upcoming events.
  • MEDIA: access to hclugano.ch and HCL TV.
  • ACCOUNT: manage your profile and settings, and contact App support.

From the bottom navigation bar you can quickly access Home, Scan&Collect, Chat, Mini-Games and Menu. In Chat you’ll receive notifications about special offers, collected points and news.

 

FAQ

You probably have a few questions. Here are some of the most frequently asked ones, but we remain available for any further information.

I already had the previous App. How do I download the new one?

Download the updated version from the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iPhone). After updating, complete a new registration. IMPORTANT: if you already have an account registered in our HCL Ticket Shop, use the same login credentials in the App.

The App Store shows “Open” instead of “Update”. What should I do?

If you see the “Open” button, tap the HC Lugano App icon to go to the App’s dedicated store page. Once there, select “Update”.

I had the old App but can’t log in. What should I do?

The old login is not valid in the new App. To access all features and receive the free Membership (if you are a season ticket holder), you must register using the same username and password as your HCL Ticket Shop account.

I didn’t have the App before. How do I download it?

Download the App from the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iPhone). Once installed, complete a new registration.
IMPORTANT: if you already have an account registered in our Ticket Shop, use the same login credentials in the App.

How much does the 5a Linea membership cost?

The launch price of the Membership is CHF 19.41.
For HCL season ticket holders, the Membership is free until the end of the 2025/2026 season.
To be recognised as a season ticket holder, you must register in the App using the same username and password as your HCL Ticket Shop account.

How long does the 5a Linea membership last?

The Membership is seasonal and is valid from activation until the end of the season (Regular Season and Post Season).

I am a season ticket holder. How can I get the 5a Linea membership for free?

To be recognised as a season ticket holder, you must register in the App using the same username and password you use in the HCL Ticket Shop.

How much time do I have to redeem rewards? / Where can I see how many rewards are available?

In the rewards catalogue, under “Quantity” (number of items), you can see how many rewards are available for redemption.
Rewards can be redeemed while stocks last.

Are the rewards always the same?

The rewards catalogue is updated periodically.

What happens to points that are not redeemed at the end of the season?

At the end of the season, points expire and cannot be transferred or used in the following season.

I’m not receiving notifications. What should I do?

Check that you have enabled notification permissions in your preferences.

How do geolocation and points allocation work?

With the new HCL App, when you are at Cornèr Arena or at an away rink, the App can detect your presence via your phone’s geolocation. This way you automatically receive points, which you can later redeem in the rewards catalogue.

I can’t enable geolocation. What should I do?

In your phone settings, make sure location permission is enabled for the HCL App.
Also make sure geolocation is turned on on your device.

My points balance is not updated on the home screen. What should I do?

You don’t need to do anything. Some point-earning activities require system checks that can delay the update time.

Who should I contact in case of malfunctions or problems with the App?

From the main menu, go to the Account section and open your profile.
Under “Contact us” you will find the contact form to report issues or request support.
