These regulations apply to all Hockey Club Lugano home games held at the ice rink known as the Cornèr Arena, located in the municipality of Porza, on the day of the event.
For all ice hockey games taking place at the Cornèr Arena, Hockey Club Lugano exercises house rights (“Hausrecht”).
These regulations are based on private and public law provisions, as well as on the rules and directives of the National League, the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF) and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
By purchasing or using a valid admission ticket, the holder accepts these regulations as well as the General Terms and Conditions for the purchase of admission tickets to Hockey Club Lugano games and events.
These regulations are displayed at all entrances of the Cornèr Arena and published through the official communication channels of Hockey Club Lugano.
Ticket holders must comply with the instructions of the Hockey Club Lugano security service, and all emergency and safety organizations present within the entire stadium perimeter. Upon request, they must identify themselves and present an official identity document.
Access to the Cornèr Arena and the relevant sector is only permitted with a valid admission ticket corresponding to the purchased category.
Persons subject to a local, national, or international stadium ban are not permitted to enter the Cornèr Arena or its perimeter.
Hockey Club Lugano reserves the right to deny entry to persons who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Valid ticket holders agree to entry checks, ticket inspections, searches for personal belongings, and personal searches aimed at identifying prohibited or dangerous items.
The sale or promotion of goods, services, or tickets not authorized by Hockey Club Lugano is prohibited within the Cornèr Arena and its perimeter. Any exceptions require prior written authorization from Hockey Club Lugano.
Visitors must behave and dress in accordance with generally accepted standards of decency.
The introduction of flagpoles, megaphones, large flags, or similar items requires prior written authorization from the Hockey Club Lugano security service, which must be presented upon request at any time.
Video and photographic recordings within the Cornèr Arena and its perimeter are permitted solely for private or professional use. Any commercial use is strictly prohibited.
The Cornèr Arena and its entire perimeter are under video surveillance.
Ticket holders acknowledge and agree that, for the purpose of ensuring public safety and prosecuting violations of these regulations or applicable law, video recordings of publicly accessible areas may be made.
All persons entering the Cornèr Arena must behave in a manner that does not endanger, harm, obstruct, or disturb others.
While inside the arena, they must follow the instructions of the security service, the stadium announcer, and the police.
Generally accepted standards of behavior must be respected in any time.
Any acts, banners, provocations, gestures, or statements directed against third parties or against the interests of Hockey Club Lugano are prohibited.
It is strictly prohibited to bring the following items into the Cornèr Arena:
Animals are not permitted inside the arena.
The security service is not obliged to store prohibited items and assumes no liability for loss, damage, or theft.
The applicable directives of the National League regarding prohibited items in stadiums also apply.
Any criminally relevant behavior will be reported to the authorities and prosecuted in accordance with applicable law.
It is prohibited to create graffiti, place stickers, posters, or any advertising material. Such acts will be prosecuted as a crime of damage.
In compliance with federal and cantonal legislation, in particular the regulations of the Canton of Ticino regarding protection against passive smoking, smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas of the Cornèr Arena.
Smoking and the consumption of tobacco products are otherwise strictly prohibited throughout the arena.
This ban also applies to electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco products, and similar products.
Hockey Club Lugano reserves the right to apply progressive sanctions in case of repeated violations of the smoking ban, including fines or stadium bans.
It is prohibited to throw on the floor or leave waste (paper, food, chewing gum, drinks, cigarettes, etc.) inside the arena or its perimeter.
Appropriate waste bins are provided.
Violations will be subject to sanctions.
It is prohibited to throw objects (coins, flyers, promotional materials, drinks, etc.) onto the ice or against the boards.
Access to the ice surface and to the areas surrounding the playing surface is strictly prohibited.
Violations will be subject to sanctions.
At the entrance to the Cornèr Arena, ticket holders may be subject, even without concrete suspicion, to external body searches conducted by persons of the same sex to detect prohibited items.
In addition, the identity of ticket holders may be verified and recorded. For this purpose, both the face and official identification documents (identity card, driving license, residence permit, etc.) may be photographed.
Refusal of a search or identity check will result in denial of access without any entitlement to a refund.
Video recordings and photographs may be transmitted to criminal authorities, published, or made accessible online for investigative purposes.
Hockey Club Lugano reserves the right to impose sanctions and/or initiate legal proceedings against people who violate these regulations.
Sanctions may be issued orally or in writing and are generally confirmed within 14 days.
All costs related to sanctions shall be borne by the person concerned.
The following sanctions may be imposed:
Personal data of offenders may be transmitted to judicial or law enforcement authorities upon written requests for investigative purposes.
Stadium bans are communicated to the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF), the police, and other authorized authorities.
No refunds will be granted for single tickets or season cards in case of expulsion or stadium ban.
Responsible people are liable for damages and costs caused by their behavior. An additional administrative fee of CHF 250.–applies.
Hockey Club Lugano, its governing bodies, and its staff accept no liability for damages resulting from accidents, injuries, illnesses, or medical incompatibilities.
Use of the Cornèr Arena facilities is at the ticket holder’s own risk.
Ticket holders expressly acknowledge that Hockey Club Lugano shall not be held liable for risks, dangers, or losses, including physical or psychological harm, property damage, or loss of personal belongings.
Any waiver of claim applies regardless of whether the damage occurs before, during, or after the event.
Only cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence are excluded from this disclaimer.
Hockey Club Lugano and its staff are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Lost property is handed over to Cornèr Arena staff and may be collected at the Sports Division of the City of Lugano during office hours.
These regulations are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or in connection with these regulations is Lugano.
