These General Terms and Conditions shall exclusively apply to the purchase and use of admission tickets (single tickets, season tickets, packages, gift vouchers). The holder of an admission ticket accepts these terms at the time of purchase and/or use.
Access to the Cornèr Arena rink is also governed by the following National League regulations: Order & Security Regulations, Data Processing Regulations, Fan Work & Prevention Regulations, and their respective appendices published at www.nationalleague.ch, as well as by the Hockey Club Lugano’s regulations on access to the Cornèr Arena, which are displayed at the various entrances to the rink.
Any other agreement between Hockey Club Lugano SA and the holder of an admission ticket shall only be valid if confirmed in writing.
The contractual relationship exists solely between the holder of the admission ticket and Hockey Club Lugano SA as the organizing body of Hockey Club Lugano’s matches and events.
By purchasing a single ticket, the holder acquires the right to attend a single Hockey Club Lugano game or event in the specified category and time slot.
By purchasing a season ticket, the holder acquires the right to attend Hockey Club Lugano games in the specified category and time slot.
“Packages” refer to multiple single tickets that can only be purchased by the customer as a package, possibly at a discounted price and/or with additional services. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the same rules applicable to season tickets shall also apply to packages.
By purchasing a gift voucher, the holder acquires the right, before the voucher’s expiry date, to exchange it for a single ticket or a season ticket for Hockey Club Lugano games in the specified category and time slot.
The display of available seats/tickets constitutes an invitation to submit an offer. The customer places the order and submits a binding offer.
The contract is considered concluded when the admission tickets are sent/made available/delivered to the customer or when digital access right is activated, usually after payment has been received.
If, after the order, the seats are (no longer) available, Hockey Club Lugano may offer alternative seats of equivalent value. The customer shall have the right to accept or refuse them.
Hockey Club Lugano reserves the right to set a maximum number of admission tickets that can be purchased per customer and per event.
The prices valid at the time of order acceptance shall apply.
Prices are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF), inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and the security contribution in accordance with cantonal and/or municipal legislation.
Any service fees, payment costs, and/or shipping costs are indicated during the ordering process and may vary depending on the sales channel.
Admission tickets will only be delivered or activated after full payment has been received.
In the event of missing, incomplete, or late payment, or insufficient funds, the order may be cancelled and the admission tickets may be blocked and put back on sale.
Administrative costs and further costs remain reserved.
The delivery method (digital or paper) is defined during the purchase process.
Inspection upon receipt: The customer is required to immediately verify the correctness of the event, date, and seats. Any discrepancies or damages must be reported within three working days of receipt and, in any case, before the event. Otherwise, the tickets shall be deemed approved.
Transfer of risk: Utility and risk pass to the customer at the time the admission tickets are sent or made available.
Print@home/QR/mobile: each admission ticket contains a code (QR or equivalent) valid for a single entry. Duplicating, copying, altering, or distributing admission tickets is prohibited. The first valid use allows entry. Subsequent uses of the same code are not permitted. The customer is responsible for the legibility and integrity of the code. If the code is unreadable or damaged, entry may be denied without the right to a refund.
As a general principle, the refund and exchange of admission tickets are excluded.
If, in exceptional cases, Hockey Club Lugano authorizes a refund or exchange, Hockey Club Lugano shall have the right to retain and/or deduct from the relevant amount all expenses and costs incurred by the operation, including service fees, payment costs, shipping costs, and any administrative costs.
The partner responsible for decisions on refunds/exchanges is Hockey Club Lugano.
Service fees, payment and shipping costs, and other management/insurance fees are generally non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
In specific cases and upon confirmation by Hockey Club Lugano, it is possible to reserve admission tickets with payment and collection before the match directly at the event location.
The customer is required to comply with the collection methods and times communicated by Hockey Club Lugano. If the tickets are not collected within the specified deadline, the reserved admission tickets shall be considered definitively purchased and will be invoiced at 100% of their amount, with no right to refund, reimbursement, or exchange.
Games may be postponed or cancelled, even at short notice, by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF), the National League (NL), or the competent authorities. The customer is required to regularly check for updates on Hockey Club Lugano’s communication channels.
In the event of a postponement or change of date of a game, unless otherwise instructed by Hockey Club Lugano, the admission ticket remains valid for the new date.
In the event of cancellation or removal of a game not directly attributable to Hockey Club Lugano, there is generally no claim for full or partial refund, exchange, or return, unless otherwise provided by Hockey Club Lugano.
In the event of a game played behind closed doors, closure of rink sectors, prohibition of playing the match at the Cornèr Arena, game played at a neutral venue, measures by sports or public authorities, public health measures (e.g., pandemic), force majeure or unforeseen events (e.g., war and/or disasters), there is generally no claim for full or partial refund, exchange, or return, unless otherwise provided by Hockey Club Lugano. Any travel expenses remain the customer’s responsibility. If Hockey Club Lugano exceptionally provides refunds or exchanges, the methods and deadlines will be communicated on Hockey Club Lugano’s communication channels.
For single tickets fully paid for and purchased directly through Hockey Club Lugano SA’s ticketing system, there is the possibility, up to five working days after the postponement is published on Hockey Club Lugano’s communication channels, but at the latest three working days before the new match date, to return them for a refund of the purchase price (minus taxes) or to exchange them for another match if seats are still available.
For single tickets purchased through Ticketcorner AG, the General Terms and Conditions of Ticketcorner AG (www.ticketcorner.ch) apply.
If the admission ticket is registered in the system, a duplicate can be issued at a cost of CHF 5.– for a single ticket and CHF 20.– for season tickets and packages.
Admission tickets are generally transferable, except for discounted tickets, which can only be used and transferred to persons entitled to the corresponding benefit (e.g., children, minors, AVS/AI recipients, students/apprentices, etc.).
For discounted tickets, the holder of the transferred admission ticket must present the relevant supporting documents.
For single tickets, the game day is considered decisive for any discounted price. For season tickets, the purchase date of the season ticket is considered decisive for any discounted price.
If supporting documents for a discounted ticket are missing, entry may be denied.
The transfer of the admission ticket in digital and/or paper format via a simple screenshot is prohibited.
The purchase and/or resale of admission tickets for commercial purposes or for profit without the written consent of Hockey Club Lugano is prohibited.
The use of admission tickets in the context of competitions, lotteries, auctions, and the like without the written consent of Hockey Club Lugano is prohibited.
In the event of a violation or well-founded suspicion, Hockey Club Lugano may cancel orders and admission tickets, deny entry, and take additional measures such as contractual penalties and claims for damages.
Personal data provided by the holder of the admission ticket during registration in the My HCL area on the Hockey Club Lugano website or on the official Hockey Club Lugano app is processed in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (FADP) and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
The holder of an admission ticket acknowledges and consents that, in the event of incidents or disturbances before, during, or after the game requiring the identification of the persons involved, the clubs and the National League may exchange relevant personal data in compliance with data protection regulations, exclusively for security purposes.
Bringing in devices for recording images and sounds for commercial purposes without the written permission of Hockey Club Lugano is prohibited.
By accessing the event, the customer irrevocably authorizes the free use of their image and voice for all existing and future media, in the context of photographs, images on the Cornèr Arena screens, live broadcasts, and/or recordings made by Hockey Club Lugano or by authorized third parties in relation to the event.
These General Terms and Conditions are exclusively subject to Swiss law.
Hockey Club Lugano reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the holder of the admission ticket.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Lugano.
