The Hockey Club Lugano has mutually agreed with Connor Carrick to terminate his contract ahead of schedule.
The 32-year-old American defenseman joined the Cornèr Arena last summer. His stint in Lugano ends after 53 games and 27 points. Hockey Club Lugano thanks Carrick for his contribution on and off the ice and wishes him well for the future.
General Manager Janick Steinmann said: “Connor Carrick came from North America. It was his first year in Europe for him and his family. It’s never easy to make this transition. He is an amazing person and worked hard and very professional. Unfortunately, we decided that he will move on and go a different way”.
