On Saturday 25 April, starting at 12:00, the auction opens for the third jersey worn by the Hockey Club Lugano first team during the two home derbies and other special games played at the Cornèr Arena during the 2025/26 season.
The auction will end on Saturday 2 May, again at 12:00.
The starting bid is set at CHF 250, with a minimum increment of CHF 5.
This season’s third jersey, featuring horizontal stripes, the intertwined HCL initials on the chest and the “85th” engraving on the collar, celebrated the 85th anniversary of Hockey Club Lugano and was inspired by a black-and-white photograph taken during the 1949/50 season.
It recalls the early days of Hockey Club Lugano, the pioneering phase of a story that has been continuously written since 11 February 1941, the first identity of a team learning to exist. A thread connecting generations of Bianconeri.
The jerseys (including the PostFinance Top Scorer one) show small signs of wear which, as is customary in this context, add “extra value” to the collectible item.
Alongside the jerseys, the auction will also include four bomber jackets in different sizes featuring the club’s historic logos, worn by players during their leisure time. Starting bid CHF 200.
