HCL-Davos: exceptional parking area opened at the Vedeggio-Cassarate exit

In agreement with the City of Lugano Police, HCL provides the following information regarding parking availability for the game between Lugano and Davos, scheduled for Saturday, 24 January 2026 at the Cornèr Arena, with face-off at 7:45 p.m.

Due to the partial overlap with the football match between FC Lugano and Winterthur, taking place at Cornaredo with kick-off at 6:00 p.m., traffic flow towards the arena may be affected. Fans arriving from the north are advised to use the Vedeggio-Cassarate tunnel. Those arriving from the south are invited to travel via Via Ciani and Via Ceresio in Pregassona.

Exceptionally, starting from 6:30 p.m., a dedicated parking area will be set up at the exit of the Vedeggio-Cassarate tunnel, on the grassy area of the New Cornaredo District. Pedestrian access will therefore be possible exclusively via Via Chiosso and not via Via Sonvico. Appropriate signage will be installed for the occasion.

Users making use of the extraordinary parking area at the tunnel exit must vacate the area within one hour after the end of the game at the Cornèr Arena. Failure to do so may result in fines or vehicle removal by the police.

Finally, parking areas at the DSU roundabout and near the former Termica site will be reserved exclusively for FC Lugano and HCL staff holding a specific pass. Access checks in these areas will therefore be intensified.
