The Charity Game played at the Cornèr Arena on 15 November 2025 between Lugano and Biel and dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Fondazione Ticino Cuore raised a total of CHF 10,900.
The amount results from the auction of the special jerseys worn on the occasion by Thürkauf and his teammates, featuring a heart-shaped electrocardiogram line with the club logo at its centre.
The entire amount will be donated to Fondazione Ticino Cuore, specifically to support training programmes in resuscitation and defibrillation techniques aimed at fourth-year middle school students across the Canton of Ticino.
Fondazione Ticino Cuore was founded in 2005 on the initiative of the Cantonal Federation of Ambulance Services and the Cardiocentro Ticino, with the goal of increasing the survival rate of people affected by sudden cardiac arrest.
On this occasion, Hockey Club Lugano would like to sincerely thank everyone who, through their tangible support, contributed to this important result, confirming the HCL tradition as a club attentive to social issues.
