Cyrill Henry, pride of Lugano’s youth development

A few days before next Sunday afternoon’s Academy Match against Bern – the annual game dedicated to supporting the club’s Youth Sector – Hockey Club Lugano is pleased to announce that forward Cyrill Henry will wear the black and white jersey for the next three seasons.

Having arrived in Ticino at age fifteen from the Thurgau youth system, Cyrill is now in his fourth season in Lugano, his second with the U21 team coached by Raffaele Sannitz, and at the same time his first under the staff led by Tomas Mitell.

The 18-year-old, born in Müsterlingen on 26.04.2007 (182 cm / 76 kg), has already appeared eleven times in the National League, standing out for his initiative, collecting three assists, and earning the trust of coaches and teammates. A perfect example of a young player in whom Lugano believed and who chose HCL’s youth program to grow in every aspect.
