To cope with the prolonged absence of Brendan Perlini and the uncertainty surrounding Rasmus Kupari’s return to competition, Hockey Club Lugano announces the signing, until the end of the 2025/26 season, of Swedish forward (right winger) Einar Emanuelsson, born on 03.04.1997 in Kiruna (179 cm, 83 kg).
Emanuelsson’s entire career has unfolded with Luleå, where he has played since the age of seventeen and is currently in his eleventh season in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), having totaled 526 games (159 points).
After reaching a first playoff final in the 2021/22 season, Emanuelsson won the national title last season, when Luleå defeated Brynäs in the finals. Although under contract with his club until the end of the 2027/28 season, Emanuelsson joins the Cornèr Arena on loan.
