Samuel Guerra grew up in the youth systems of Ambrì and Davos, making his National League debut in the 2010/11 season with the Grisons team. During his time with Davos, he won two Swiss championship titles (2011, 2015), establishing himself as a reliable and versatile defenseman.
In 2016, he moved to Zürich, where he continued to develop, playing regularly and strengthening his reputation as a solid defensive player. With the Lions, he won his third Swiss championship title (2018).
Since 2021, he has been a key player for Lugano, contributing experience and tactical intelligence to the team's defense. He will remain with the Bianconeri until at least 2027.
