Jesper Peltonen is a Finnish defenseman born in Helsinki in 1998. After developing in Lugano’s youth program and later in the United States with Northwood School and the University of Wisconsin (NCAA), he began his professional career in Switzerland with Kloten, where he spent two seasons in the National League.
In the summer of 2024, he decided to join Hockey Club Lugano. With his positioning, reliability, and defensive awareness, Peltonen strengthens our blue line with stability and balance.
