Six boys from the Youth Section of Hockey Club Lugano have been selected for the end-of-April appointments of the Swiss national teams.
Goalkeeper Yannis Zambelli, defender Niccolò Castiglioni, and forward Kei Imboden (the latter on standby, all born in 2008) will play in the Four Nations Tournament in Kloten with the U16 team.
Defender Elia Pedrotti and forward Anton Besanidis (the latter on standby, both born in 2007) will participate with the U17 team in the Five Nations Tournament in Tranas, Sweden.
Forward Gioele Pedrazzini (born in 2005) has been called up with the U19 team to play in the Five Nations Tournament in Poprad, Slovakia.
Unfortunately, forward Leonardo Domenichelli had to forgo his call-up with the U18 team, which is preparing for the World Championships scheduled for April 25 in Finland, due to an injury.
