The countdown begins: here’s the HCL pre-season game schedule

Hockey Club Lugano has finalized its schedule of exhibition games in preparation for the 2025/26 National League season.

The preseason includes two games at the Cornèr Arena: the match on Saturday, August 30th (6:00 p.m.) against the Rapperswil Lakers, which will be followed by the traditional team presentation to the fans at the "Reseghina" and the game on Tuesday, September 2nd (7:45 p.m.) against Kladno, a Czech team competing in the Extraliga.

The team, coached by Tomas Mitell, will take part in the Bodensee Cup in Kreuzlingen from August 21st to 23rd, where they will face the German team Schwenninger Wild Wings in the opening game.

The preparation will also include a training camp in Lenzerheide from August 26th to 28th.

• Friday, August 8: Visp-Lugano (7:00 p.m.) in Visp
• Friday, August 15: Kloten Flyers-Lugano (6:30 p.m.) in Chur
• Thursday, August 21: Schwenninger Wild Wings-Lugano (7:30 p.m.) in Kreuzlingen
• Saturday, August 23: opponent and time to be confirmed in Kreuzlingen
• Friday, August 29: Chur-Lugano (6:00 p.m.) in Chur
• Saturday, August 30: HCL-SCRJ Lakers (6:00 p.m.) at Cornèr Arena, followed by the official team presentation to fans
• Tuesday, September 2: Lugano-Kladno (7:45 p.m.) at Cornèr Arena
