Forward Ramon Tanner, who has spent the past seven seasons mainly with Biel, will undergo a try-out with Hockey Club Lugano during the month of August and September.
Born on 28.08.1999, Tanner began his youth career with Herisau before moving to Davos, where he captained the U20 team. In 2019, he represented Switzerland at a World Junior Championship and then joined the Seeländer, with whom he played a total of 264 games (38 points).
Primarily a winger, the Appenzell native (171 cm, 81 kg) brings solid National League experience and is coming off his best season with Biel.
HC Lugano also announces that it has signed a one-year contract, including the possibility of a loan to a Swiss League team, with Canadian and Swiss forward Jakob Lee, born in Owen Sound (Ontario) on 12.02.1999.
Lee (183 cm, 84 kg) can play both as a winger and center. He developed in the Ontario junior leagues (AJHL and GOJHL), and over the past four seasons, he has played in the NCAA, the top U.S. college league. With the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy (New York State), he recorded 126 games and 60 points (34 goals, 26 assists).
In the end, forward Liekit Reichle is leaving the shores of Lake Ceresio. The club and the 22-year-old forward have mutually agreed to terminate the existing contract. Last season, Reichle wore the Bianconeri jersey on twenty-five occasions.
