No surgery for Thürkauf, Schlegel out 2-3 weeks

HCL captain Calvin Thürkauf will not undergo surgery on his left knee, which was injured during the match against Bern on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

In agreement with the HCL medical staff and after consulting specialists, Thürkauf has decided to proceed with non-surgical treatment. The Swiss National Team forward will begin a rehabilitation program aimed at a full recovery within 10-12 weeks.

At the same time, the club announces that goaltender Niklas Schlegel will be out of action for 2-3 weeks due to a muscle injury in his leg.
