Connor Carrick is an American defenseman born in Orland Park, Illinois, in 1994, with extensive NHL experience. A product of the USNTDP, he was selected in the 2012 NHL Draft by the Washington Capitals (137th overall) and made his NHL debut in the 2013/14 season.
Throughout his career, he played for Washington, Toronto, Dallas, and New Jersey, collecting over 250 NHL appearances and more than 200 in the AHL. A solid, mobile defenseman with strong vision, Carrick established himself as a reliable presence on both sides of the ice.
In the summer of 2025, he chose Hockey Club Lugano for his first European adventure, bringing our blue line leadership, intensity, and the experience of a player accustomed to the highest level.
