Davos vs. Lugano - Comments and highlights

Lugano confirmed yesterday night its fragility in away game.

Not too far from Davos during the first half hour, when Lugano created some interesting scoring occasions, the bianconeri then suffered the blow of the second and of the third goal realized by Del Curto's men around the second break when then finally fell (5-0)

The fourth consecutive defeat outside the Resega, before the sixtieth minute, suggests a clear personality problem. Despite the previous four adversaries (Bern, ZSC Lions, Zug and Davos) some negative episodes were enough to put the team k.o.

At the Resega things were better. Zurich won during the additional time but against Geneva, Fribourg and Lausanne, the group reacted in another way. With that agonistic wickedness and that determination over every inch of the ice that now seems to vanish beyond the Alps.

The crowded infirmary doesn't help either. Brunner's class, Walker's physical strength and Steinmann
defensive work missed at the Vaillant Arena. And even Bertaggia had to give up. Tut the accidents can't be alibis and Davos showed it.

Bienne's away game and Ambrì's derby are scheduled on the following week-end. Two direct matches within the low zone of the ranking. It's time to fight, hard.
