An event that keeps on growing

The spectacular Teatro Eventi Metamorphosis inside the Mantegazza Palace has hosted TZhursday 1st March 2018 for the second straight year the traditional dinner promoted by the Golden Wings Club (GWC) and the HC Lugano Academy Foundation. 

Arrived at the 5th edition, the event became very important for the political authorities, for the delegates of the financial and entrepreneurial world, for the Golden Wings Club (GWC) members, for the Club, the sponsors and all the people near HC Lugano. 

The growth of this moment that wants to help the young talents that follow the double path, professional and sportive, was testified by the high participation, with 220 people. 

Giving prestige to the evening was the presence of the guest star René Fasel. In an interview made by the RSI journalist Alessandro Tamburini, the president of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and member of the International Olympic Comitee (CIO) has proposed some interesting thoughts a few days after the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, but aslso wanted to underline how important it is to invest in young players for the future of sports at any level. 

Thanks to the generousity of the participating, the dinner let the HC Lugano Academy Foundation devolve at the Hockey Club Lugano's Youth Sector the great sum of 70'000 francs.
